People forget sometimes. Snake smiled. Can't say some men don't need a good hit upside the head or two. Anything you want to talk about or... spar to get cooled down, hmmm?

I told him that I would have his head if he touched any of my women. I told her that she could not trust him.

And now we're too far off for me to make good on my threat to him! And we're still traveling, which means food is scarce enough, and she will be eating for two.. *takes a long, slow breath*

But Artemis will preserve us. We are her daughters, and her wrath will not fall on Daphne, as we make no vows to celibacy. *takes another long breath* Everything will be fine.

*a third breath* How have you been? Faring well, I hope.

Can't say that is an abnormal happening.

Well, I'll have to see about sending a care package again. Can't have you all starving.

Snake smiled. Is she young too? Seems like she's done something a young girl would.

Not too bad. Usual stress of running a big family. Sure you understand.

We're getting along fairly well. I've taught the young ones how to fish effectively, and they love doing it, so we usually have that much, at least.

She's sixteen. Which is.. not as young to us as it is to some. I'm not all that much older myself. But she is foolish, when it comes to men. She's a good hunter and a good warrior, just a little soft.

She smiled a bit, chuckling. That's good at least. Stress is to be expected, but it's worth it, isn't it?

Snake chuckled. I've learned kids will do anything that involves "playing in water".

Can tell you from my perspective that a strong woman with just a bit of softness is absolutely irresistible.

Snake nodded. Yeah it is worth it no matter what it feels like sometimes.
