That's what I'm sayin': it should be good, 'cause: cheerleaders! An' I ain't normally even about cheerleaders, but I'm willin' to make exceptions for when they mid-cheerin'. But football blows that hard, that it can cancel out freakin' even chicks jumpin' up an down in shorts skirts. THAT'S, LIKE, A UNPOSSIBLE LEVEL OF BLOW.
See, here's a bit of advice. My comment about my daughter should have warned you that any comments about cheerleaders jumping around in short skirts could be taken amiss.
Though I completely agree on the sheer blow factor of football.
I don't think the government makes people stupid. They do it well enough on their own. Of course, they could just be following the government's prime example.
My son plays soccer. I have no idea how I wound up raising two children who are into the sport thing.
Some people get so heated up about it! It's cute. See, okay--when people get into big flaily fits over their favorite band, that's music, it's been messing people up in the head since the dawn of time. But football is just a game certain people put so much emotion into caring about, and it has a whole little subculture of scores and sports terms and fans.
I guess I like it for the same reasons most people think it's ridiculous.
Oh, well, it's not as bad as rugby. ...but it's true a lot of them turn into jerks. They learn pretty quickly with the right kind of social pressure, though!

I have no idea. Then again, I don't see the point of sports in general. I'm a bit of a nerd.

It could have something to do with not carrying my genetic makeup, but still... I believe nurture is as important as that.

Really, I'm just inclined to like anything that makes a lot of people happy, I guess I can't see what's wrong with it if no one is getting hurt.
