A gig at what?

Um, I think it's a ball-type thing, or gala... It's at The Grand Hyatt in New York.

Wow, that's impressive. What kind of music?

We're a folk band. But it's kind of a mix. We do folk-rock, folk-ballad, folk-rap... Lots of things.

Really? *smiles* That's cool, I'll have to come listen sometime.

*fidgets a bit* You could come to the gala if you'd like...

I'm from New Zealand, but me and my bandmate/best mate moved to New York to try and make it as a band. What about you?

Wow, New Zealand? That's amazing, I've never been there. I just moved to New York myself, like a week ago.

*beaming and fidgeting excitedly* If we can't find any, we could always make them. Or use a substitute.

Yeah, we have a fence made out of toothbrushes. It's pretty. New Zealand. Not the toothbrush fence. If you ever need any help getting around the city, or something, you could always ask... *blushes again* I mean, I've lived there for about a year now. I know some things.

I don't really know what it looks like, actually. Our manager's always talking about it, though. *smiles through a blush* I do know a place that serves really great kebabs.
