I'm acquainted with one ~~and a half~~, plus hunters. It's not so hard to believe.

...I don't know that particular hunter, no? At least, I don't think so...

She is so strong, so fearless, so... unattainable----It's a nice change.

I wouldn't know. I don't have the same perspective a vampire must on the matter.

...I don't know. The vampire I've been speaking with and the hunter I best know seem to disagree.

...I would suppose fair combat rather than petty tricks and threats. But then, I suppose if the vampire is conniving too...*looks thoughtful*

But they can generally agree on a few key rights and wrongs, right? Churches and schools and women and children...

But if the vampire is conniving, using dirty tricks they may have to play the same game, right?

I would hope so, but then if you feel threatened or are threatening someone else you might not want to find anything in common with them---you want detachment so it's easier to best your enemy and you do not have all that guilt after.

I probably ought to. But sitting still makes me even more restless after the pilgrimage. Maybe I should meditate.
