I'm sorry I had to run out of the theater so fast. It was making me ill. I get motion sickness, I totally suck sometimes. I mean, at a movie.

But that was... yeah. Had to run, otherwise that lady in front of us wearing the really gross heavy floral perfume was gonna get barfed on.

But really...no the movie sucked. I loved the book and they totally butchered it! *sigh* they always fucking do. Still Griffin was the best part of the movie. :P

LOL. I didn't mind it nearly as much as my muse did, but then, I haven't read the book. I love the idea, but felt the script was way too chaotic with too much unanswered. Maybe I'll have to grab the book.

No, I totally agree. The movie was way fast paced and all over the place. Almost none of that stuff even happens in the book. There was a lot unanswered. I don't know, the movie pissed me off so much....just consider my muse to be from the book...

Yea, if you do get the book, don't expect it to be anything like the movie...there are no Palidons and Griffin originally wasn't even in it. The Stephen went back and wrote Jumper:Griffins Story. Which is amazing!

It was possibly one of the most chaotic movies I've ever seen, yes--both in script and visual effects. My eyes are still a bit crossed. lol

Ok, good to know. I really like the idea of it a great deal, so I'll have to find the books and just enjoy the story as it was meant to be.

lol! Yea I get that. I nearly cried....well not that extreme, after the movie. I was so sad they ruined it. Gosh, I feel so sheepish now, to have made a muse out of a shitty movie, even if it was really from the book.

Honestly...if I was Stephen Gould (writer) I would be so pissed right now.

OOC: THen that definitely counts me out!! I was motion sick through both Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy!!! Even when I watched Supremacy on DVD I couldn't.. wanted to watch it before allowing the Kirill muse I had stirring to take a hold and ended up at the other end of the longest room and watching it and still felt ill!

The visual effects were so disturbing, I can't even say.
