I dislike a consistent bad mood as well.

This will only end badly.

To what does this refer?

The conversation and how my mood will affect it.

So it ends badly. Not everything in life need be pretty.

What if I want it to be pretty?

Take things on balance. When you have a long life, there is much to balance.

Or did you mean the conversation?

Balance is like control, right? It was trying to control everything, which gave me this mood to begin with.

Yes. No. Maybe. I don’t know.

I meant balance as more over time. Any given moment may not be pretty, hopefully on balance moments over time ease in their nature. What were you attempting to control?

Fair enough. I spend a good amount of time not knowing.

A night club. Singing. A violent ex. Four brothers. Life. Demands of another ~~fairy king~~ man. Obsession of a movie star. Sanity. ~~Shape shifting~~. Breathing. A stalking, harassing, violent, step mother. Anger. And, a partridge in a pear tree.

Why?

Control would seem an exhausting business. And an interesting choice of word.

For everything I feel I know there are as likely many things that I do not know.

An ‘interesting choice of word’ especially when it is, not exactly, working.
