He was really upset that we didn't ask him to be in the last video. Pete wanted Brendon and Spencer to be in it, and we knew that they wouldn't want Ryan there. He was sleeping, anyway. I guess I didn't realize how hard he'd take it.

I kept thinking there could be another explanation for it, but it's still happening and it seems to be getting worse. He keeps going on and on about Brendon putting the exclamation point in the band title. I don't know what to do...

I've...been delaying telling him, because I wasn't sure how he'd take it. I kept hoping it would just go away. But now, I'm not sure I can wait any longer.

It sounds like Ryan needs serious help. Maybe it is just temporary, but he'll be able to overcome it faster if he's someplace they can care for him. I don't know if Pete should know about this, but I do think you can't be expected to watch him every minute. Has he tried to hurt himself?

Sir, I'm really sorry about that. You do look a lot like Brendon. He's just gone through a really bad band break-up, and a lot of negative publicity, lately.

We're trying to figure out what he needs, but...we're afraid that might not be something we can provide him. I think he needs someone more...professional.
