Never get used to losing friends.

I don't think anyone can. While new friends are wonderful, it is never quite the same.

When you have to watch them age and die, yes, but it's worse when you push them away yourself.

Why would one push away a friend?

To save his heart from being completely broken.

This is not something that can be repaired?

With time maybe, once his heart has mended once more.

I highly doubt that is a possibility. Even then, you never truly lose them.

*looks at him before suddenly running at him and wrapping her arms around him, hugging him tightly*
