I have this really bad habit of falling for guys that meet their untimely death or have to leave before he does. It sounds much more fun than it actually is.

Aha. Your fortunes have a chance of turning though, mademoiselle. Most habits can be broken with patience.

That's what I'm hoping for, sweets. We'll see. But weren't you the one that said we are all doomed to be alone. Seems like a very heavy sentiment for such a sweet little girl.

I meant my kind, mademoiselle. Not all of the world is destined for such a fate, but...for some it is unavoidable.

*pauses* So... are the stories true? No sunlight, garlic, running water and all that?

*cants her head* There are stranger things, I promise you.

Most of the stories are inaccurate, but they contain a hint of truth. We do, indeed, sleep in coffins and sunlight will do us great harm (if not kill us!). Things like garlic and crosses all depend on your faith, and your belief in the stories. Garlic makes me queasy, but it does not make me stop, and the cross is simply annoying.

*Stares in fascination* But you definately drink blood?

Yes. Some of us drink the blood of animals; most prefer human blood, though, for its taste.

That's incredible. So you probably aren't a little girl at all, are you?
