It's hard Elizabeth. I want to live until or if she decides to come back and the hell if I don't feel guilty about trying to get up and not sit around brooding.
We'll have to find some way to distract you, perhaps. No one expects you to forget your wife overnight, and I for one would not wish for you to. How can you forget something so powerful? Love simply doesn't work like that. Sometimes continuing on in the hopes of someday is the only thing can motivate you to see the sunrise each day. Other times, the anger can get the best of us.
I am here if you need. My homes, all of them, are at yours and your family's disposal. But one thing that I needs have remain is the friend whom I care for.
Bad choice of words, then...you're a good man to be able to do that. I never had that luxury...someone *else* told my fella to leave.
He came back for me, though...it was a thousand years later, but he came.
There's a certain strength that comes from being able to let go...sometimes you can feel it, sometimes you don't. But time and distance, man...time, distance, life, death...you're never gonna get away from her.
Anyway...if you ever need an ear, I'm easy to find, and willing to help. It's...kind of what I was built for. *laughs*
I don't want to get away from her. I just want to stop feeling like I'm about to be crushed every time I see anything that even remotely reminds me of her.
Y'know, there's a time and a place for chivalry, and it's called every-time-except-when-you're-sparring. *grin* Okay, no playing...well will you hit a girl in the name of education? Teach me some of those cool military moves, so I, too, can stick it to The Man. ;)
Ooh, or? You could totally help me with my magic! I'm still laid up until I see Christine for a checkup on Monday, but when I'm well I'll be off my meds and flexing some magic muscle.
...yeah, I'm being annoying again. I just want to try and help you make some progress with the venting of the bad vibes is all.

Love is difficult, even in the best of times. That you feel as you do, well, you are a man to be admired for such.

I've been there...just know that time and distance can't *keep* you apart...I'm speaking from experience.
I'm sorry you're having to suffer through losing a loved one, man. It's never easy.

I'm not saying time will make it better...but it will lift that feeling.
...somewhat.
Sorry. *wrinkles nose and offers a small, comforting smile* Brutal honesty's in my nature.

I will sit with you then.

Snake smiled when she sat down.
How are you doing sweetheart?

*smiles lightly at him, tucks her feet up under her*
I am well. I'm going to sit here for awhile. Are you thirsty or hungry though?

Nothing *should* stop you from missing her...she's your *wife*, dude. It won't get better, but it will get less painful.
You're doing okay? I don't mean 'good okay', but...kids are looking after you and all that? You're hanging on?

Well...I hate to say it, but maybe you should. Work off some of that aggression, if you don't actually physically go out and plug someone.
You much of a sparring kinda guy? Or are you the Kodak type...y'know, strictly 'point and shoot?'
no subject
Yeah I spare. Shame of it is, only women offer and I wont hit them even if we're sparing.
