New-Age witches taste like sugared glitter.

Well, that must have been....pleasant.

[identity profile] whistlerhunter.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Can't imagine it was. Wonder what made her taste that way.

You should probably stick with Pixie Stix. Now with 40% more pixie and 15% less witch.

And here I thought it was cause we're great in bed.

No. Thankfully I've been explosion free for an entire weekend. Unless you count what my cousin did to the microwave trying to make soup...in the can.

This week? Apartment hunting.

Do I want to know why you were giving new-age witches the Folger's taste test?

[identity profile] reportresurrect.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Poor dear?

No, the apartment's still in tact it's just that now that my car went boom the commute is a pain in the butt. I need something in Metropolis.

Well, I know that but I would think the new-age types would all taste like sandalwood and patchuli. Not too appetizing.

*blinks* Do they really? I would have expected incense and altar wine myself. But then I don't ... partake.

Ahhh ... neo-pagan as opposed to old-style Wiccan, then? *snorts* Strange to think of the worship of the Lady and her Lord as fractured into sects as Judaism, Christianity or Buddhism. But I suppose that happens to all religions with enough time and adherants.

Ohhhh my. That does sound a trifle over the top.

*extends a hand* I don't think we introduced ourselves last time we spoke. I'm Caitlín MacEibhir.

[identity profile] a-chaitlin.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmmmm, very true. And not just with religion. Humans seem to spend much of their time classifying and dichotomizing ... their basic means of dealing with any uncertainty, I think.

*faint smile* A pleasure here as well, Josef. And if you're truly that old, then you must be a vampire true, and no ... gothy dabbler yourself.

And that's why I'm thankful I don't have a sweet tooth.

[identity profile] alwaysin-gloves.livejournal.com 2008-02-26 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds positively disgusting.

[identity profile] ambitious-woman.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
Glitter cannot be good for the digestive track Josef. Even yours.

ooc: Vamp Reinette friends with Josef??? WHY NOT.

[identity profile] ambitious-woman.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
Self control is something to aspire to. I know it is a weakness we both struggle with. But really -- glitter?

And I might be an actress but I am always myself. I never play at anything.
