Shutting off my 'heart' for ~~now~~ good.

I think I might join you on that.

I just so tired. It seems as thought everyone around me is finding some form of happiness.

Having trouble finding that perfect someone?

There had been someone or I had thought there had been but he just vanished from my life. No word, nothing. I let my heart feel and my brother was shot twice, my other siblings had more problems.

I shut down my heart and my brother is well and happy, my other brother is finding his place in the world and my two sisters are happier also.

Aw hell. That's no good for anybody. ~~Well, 'cept me. Learned that lesson the hard way. Again.~~

Nah, you always got choices. Sometimes ya just don't like the consequences is all. It's part of that whole bein' responsible thing I've been tryin' out lately. Cain't decide if it suits me or not.

Last time I let any form of personal feelings happen my brother was shot twice. I'm supposed to protect him and the others, I can't if I am running around trying to bed someone.

*raises an eyebrow* I ain't exactly sure how the two correllate to you cuttin' your heart off from the world. I mean, it ain't like you shot him, right?

No I didn't, but had I not been else where I could have been watching over him. It's what I am supposed to do.

What? You ain't allowed to have a social life? Sweetheart, you gotta learn to loosen up a little. It ain't right to go blamin' yourself for tryin' to have your own fun. And believe me when I say, you can't protect everyone all the time.

I try and to that, sure I'd love to find a guy who's got the balls to throw me down and have a good time with me.

What I deserve and what I get are two different things. I usually get the guy who's all sweetness and then fucks off when he's got me hooked. I think I'd rather just have someone to challenge me for a while instead of looking with my heart.

Well, there ain't nothin' wrong in that, I suppose. But then you never know what you might be missin'.
