Is there something on your mind, friend?

Wondering, I suppose, why so many bemoan their fates. There are certain things that... should be eliminated, but. At the same time, it's not like there aren't things that can't be done.

I think, sometimes, it is to prompt others to tell them how wonderful they are. A bit...sad, really.

Is it too much to simply ask for reassurance?

I admit, I worry sometimes that I'm more of a burden than a boon to my brothers and Leila, but I at least ask them, out right say it..

Perhaps they think that they gain more voices of assurance when they pity themselves. I personally think it is a waste of emotion that could be directed elsewhere.

And I often feel that D would prefer to travel without me, but I've asked as well and I am still riding with him.

...I think they are less out for assurance and more intent on having their egos stroked.

Well, yeah. Or you'll die, that's Darwinism.
