So there's this girl. Kate. And I kinda have had this thing for her and we got a little... intimate, you know? Well, when you're out in a jungle it ain't like you can just run on down to the mom and pop shop. So things happened and... we thought she might be... you know... pregnant. But she ain't. And she didn't appreciate the fact that I had the common sense to know that havin' a baby on an island where the babies and momma's die during childbirth might be a bad thing. I mean, I ain't exactly father material anyway. But she got kinda offended and left. Ran, actually.
It's a habit I'm startin' ta think she ain't ever gonna break...
So was the baby something that she wanted? I don't think it's a bad thing that you had some common sense, though you couldn't do anything to stop it if she were pregnant. But I get the not wanting kids thing, I'm not mother material.
She always running from things then?
Well, I haven't done a relationship for awhile. My job, kind of dangerous and most guys can't appreciate a girl who could probably kick their ass ten ways from Sunday and back. I kind of fell for this robot like guy and it was a weird relationship. Nothing physical but it was something. But he kept pushing me away and then....decided he never loved me. So I told him fine and walked away.
Sounds like fate just isn't on either of our side.
At least it wasn't literal. Though I wouldn't put it past her. She's a spitfire, that's for sure.
You know... I don't know. Honestly, she's hard as hell to read sometimes. But judging by her reaction, she wanted me to want it. Like it ain't enough that I wanted HER.
Oh yeah. Regular Flo-Jo. She's... got some issues with the law. But I think it's more than that. She just... I think she gets scared that someone will get close. Which... I can't say I blame her. Look what it did for me, right?
Well, looks like you and me are two sides of the same coin. 'Cept your side is much shinier and pretty ta look at.
And sweetness, you could kick my ass anyday. *grin*
Some women want that though, they need to be assured. Guess I did once in awhile too but I can't put up with being pushed either. If you want me, then you want me and that's it. I like things better when there isn't too much complication, you know?
Ah, the law. Got a few issues there too but generally we can stay under the radar.
*chuckles* I don't know, you got the blond hair and the scruff.

Unless that isn't the reason she ran.

Well, that and I'm an asshole.no subject
Isn't the stereotype that women always go for the assholes?no subject
Yeah, but I ain't supposed to go for her right back. We ain't exactly the stereotypical lovebird types.no subject
Stereotypes always fall away to nightmares. It's the odd ones that work.no subject
Yeah? Hell, maybe you should talk to her then.no subject
I'm not exactly the good example for happy relationships.no subject
Well, she ain't exactly Suzy Homemaker herself.no subject
What would the young lady's name be, assuming I get up the gumption?(no subject)

You thought you got the girl you are kinda in love with knocked up and were glad when it wasn't true, too huh?Alright, I'll tell ya, but you gotta swear you ain't gonna ruin my reputation by tellin' people I'm a sap.

Nope, started falling for a guy who decided to be selfless and tell me that he never loved me and never could.Sure, but that same promise goes for you.

Same thing. You got yourself a deal, sweetness.

Kind of a kick to the nuts in a way, isn't it?Sounds good, bub.
