*glances up every so often, looking around, but continues going through it, picking out the cash and examining a card of some kind before throwing the wallet in a trashcan*

*The reaction to the touch is sudden, violent-- she pulls the wrist that was touched, trying to break the hold, her eyes wide. She doesn't scream, but her lips are parted just slightly, as if she might be ready to do so.*

*She takes a few steps back when her wrist is free, glaring at him, sizing him up, assessing the threat. The question finally registers, and she frowns.*
