They come and go. My doctor says it's probably due to something called an irritable uterus. I'm on medication for them - sometimes they come regardless though.
I think this is supposed to be where I insert my obviously Eurocentric opinion about the American drinking age, but honestly I think it suits the situation. American teenagers tend to own cars; European teenagers, not so much. European teenagers get shitfaced, they take the train or walk home. American teenagers get shitfaced, they drive into oncoming traffic and kill people.
The only thing I will say is that I found it very odd that it is against the law for a parent to give their child alcohol in their own home. It seems like it would be impossible to enforce.
Eh, it's not so hard. Having lived in both places, it would be impossible not to see both sides. I also don't really buy the argument that letting kids drink teaches them to be responsible. I mean maybe to a certain degree it does, but after years of responsible drinking enforced by my parents, I just started right up being irresponsible as soon as I could, just like kids here do.
That being said, personally, I don’t know what’ll I’ll do if and when I have children and raise them in America. More than likely I will let them drink at home. It would seem hypocritical not to.

Whether I think it's a stupid law or not, I'll obey it. Not that I know any teens to break it with anyway.
How are you?

Tired. Sore. Been having contractions on and off today. You?

*worried look* What's this about contractions? I thought those had stopped.
I'm tired too, no contractions though thank the Goddess!

That's good. Not the tired thing, but... yea...

*nods* Definitely good. Getting to the point where people are starting to stare at me though. It's irritating.

Aww, I'm sorry.

Not much I can do about it, but it'll all be worth it in nineteen more weeks at most.
