And just to tell you, "I love you," is not an easy thing to say. With my ex -- it was difficult to tell him and even then I don't know if I...knew then. I mean, we aren't together for a reason...and that's not helpful to you.

He told me about that, and I didn't believe him. If you knew him in person, you'd think the same. He feels affection, pride, annoyance, anger, lust...I didn't know what to expect from him, if anything when I told him.

I feel...oddly relieved, like I was hiding it from myself, and when I told him, the weight came off my shoulders.

Maybe on the outside it looks like he feels all those things - but he doesn't. Believe me, dude, I've encountered stranger. I am stranger.
