"On hold" music should be illegal.

That's not music. It's psychological warfare, Lois. They figure after you listen to enough Muzak you'll be so grateful by the time you get to actually talk to a person that you'll be putty in their hands.

It just so happens I picked one of those up dirt cheap...You know, that thought is just not going to go anywhere safe for the general population.

So instead I'll ask who's got you in limbo?

Lois Lane! I am not at all shocked! That you would ask such a question!

Why are you calling the Chamber of Commerce?

Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week, be sure to try the veal.

Excuse me you're what?!

Ahhh, but then what would you listen to while on hold?

[identity profile] notaballad.livejournal.com 2009-09-28 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahhhh. Well, I'm very glad that my workdays aren't like that.

[identity profile] notaballad.livejournal.com 2009-09-28 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
So, what torturous job do you have that makes you listen to "on hold" music all day?

[identity profile] notaballad.livejournal.com 2009-09-29 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Nice. I'm a freelance graphic designer.

[identity profile] notaballad.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
The majority of my work is advertising, and then I have side projects where I'll do fliers, menus, business cards, stationery, that kind of stuff for people.

[identity profile] notaballad.livejournal.com 2009-10-07 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
Pretty much. It keeps me out of trouble.

[identity profile] notaballad.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I don't know. There's a time and a place for fun.
