[Singing softly to himself, thoroughly distracted.]

[She's wandering the forests (even though Leo told her not to) when she hears that voice... She follows it and stands in the clearing, just watching him as he sings.]

[For once his senses are clouded and he hasn't noticed the presence of the girl standing a short distance away from him. Almost as if he's singing to try and comfort himself... to avoid something.]

[She listens a moment longer before stepping closer to him now, a little concerned.] Grothia?

[Hearing his name now he turns to her but he's still singing. He's acknowledged her presence but doesn't seem to want to react to it. At least, that's how it seems at first. There is a definite sharper edge in his tone now, the hint of a growl underneath the melody.]

[She doesn't miss the changing tone, the slight growl. But it doesn't scare her. Not like it used to. She steps towards him now, hesitantly reaching up to touch his cheek.] Are you okay?

[As soon as she makes contact he ceases the singing before lashing out at her, thrusting her away from him in a flurry of angry snarls. It's obvious he doesn't want her here and he still hasn't said a word to address her.]

[She flinches at his reaction, but it doesn't put her off. It just makes her more determined.] Grothia, stop it!

[And finally he speaks. Though his tone is more than friendly.] You shouldn't be here. Go away!

[Of course...] Your voice... it's pretty when you sing.

... [He turns away from her looking slightly... guilty?] Leave. Now.

[Trying to approach him again.] I haven't seen you in awhile...
