Oh, she might not be, but it's in her rights to dislike your girlfriend. To forbid you from seeing her or that sort of thing? No. But she is completely allowed to dislike her. Even for no real, viable reason.

After all, I have no intentions of ever liking my son's girlfriend.

Even the most rational woman loses her sense of fairness when her son or daughter is dating. There really isn't an answer but to grin and bear it.

Now, once she starts forbidding you to date, to see your girlfriend, that kind of thing... Then you can complain. But just that she doesn't like her? Not a big deal.
