He looked at her, caught very much off guard by the sudden kiss. He didn't know what to make of it, what to think or do. So he just stared at her, blinking a few times.

Finally, he found something to say. Probably not the best thing to say in such a situation, but it was what came out.

Jehanne... are you feeling well?

He was doing his best to shake off the shock of what she'd just done, and he looked at her with one eyebrow quirked.
