No idea. Same shit the happened for the month before that? No more, no less. I wasn't worried about me... I was worried about the other kid that was down there with me.. .and really...I didn't know him that well...so I don't know why I cared.

It was always gonna be you or him, Jake. You're just kidding yourself if you think it could've gone any other way. He might've kept you alive for another week or a month or a year, but he would have killed you eventually.

Look, kid. You killed him to save your own life, and to save the life of another innocent boy. Now, you can waste years of your life feeling bad about it, second-guessing yourself, beating yourself up about it, or you can get on with your life. Believe me...I know what I'm talking about.
