They had that on Mythbusters this morning and apparently you don't really have to shoot them to kill them, the concussive blast does the killing.

One would hope you were not actually speaking of shooting either but rather the ease with which one might do it but that is where it was proven that actually hitting the fish in the barrel, thereby shooting is actually problematic unless your entire goal is...
