In the world I seek to create, Muggles are beneath Wizards, but that is because they do not have the skills we have. They must be beneath us so that they can be protected.

A Muggle is a non-magic person. A Squib is someone born into a Wizarding family but who shows no sign of potential for magic.

Muggles and Squibs both need protection because they do not have the abilities that Wizards do. And rather than let Muggles persecute us, or attempt to, Wizards need to take command.
