Of course, I fear Mr. Longbottom's rather suffering for it. And someone outside the school heard about it and rather told me off, saying I shouldn't encourage my students to humiliate a professor.

It's not Mr. Longbottom's fault. If he is suffering for it, tell him to come see me.

I don't know who he was, really. I tried explaining to him the principles of a boggart. He seemed to think that my helping Mr. Longbottom come to the solution that he did for how to turn the boggart's magic back on it inappropriate.

I'm afraid I got rather short with him eventually.

I doubt you ever forget them, HeadMaster, and having them pushed in your face isn't something that should be necessary.

This whole place seems foolish to me. It makes no sense whatsoever.
