There are basic langauges everyone knows but every culture is still it's own.

Seeing you've got the years on my Jack, have you settled down?

Alisa smirks.

My guess, is you need to find someone who's willing to just accept you.

Don't have a companion at the moment. Even if I did I wouldn't sleep with them.

Doctor's rules are mine now.

Still before this, did you settle down with someone? I think mine sometimes just enjoys the body in there, and yes we've had some wonderful sex.

I learned about Alice and Steven, that's okay. I figured you or he had a child somewhere along the lines, if not I expected more than those two to be honest.

Alisa lowers her head, and she laughs.

Sex with women, it can happen. Especially when birth control didn't exactly exist. I wouldn't be surprised, and bother with it. I mean, 180 years can mean lots of kids floating around there.

I haven't had a lover since Ianto.......the hurt really never goes away.

I had a son too, he died still birth.

No it doesn't, but sometimes you need to pick the pieces up. My mom's been upset still since my father's death.

Will she move on? I don't know, then again she's in her late fifties not a few hundred. She won't go on forever either.

To go on forever with nobody is lonely. I think since Ianto, there's been that effort honest effort to stay still.

Forever it seems. I only came back to Earth once. To get Emmy when she was still a baby.

Gwen's looking good with that baby belly, and it's been a bit of a rough spot for me.

I've been a little blah, thinking about my own son. He's with a relative in Orlando, so I'm more of an aunt he rarely sees.

That's rough....after Alice shut me out of her life...I had to find clever ways of visiting Steven.

Jack told me and Ianto one night. He tried to get in touch with her during the holidays, to get Steven over to well see the city for the holidays.

She sighs.

She found an excuse to dodge coming.

Alice was always stubborn and had to do things her own way.

Explaining me to people was starting to get hard.

I can imagine, but still to just cut you out completely is rough.

I understood the reason, but yes it still hurt deeply.

I did too, but like you said it was pretty painful.
