A male clone, huh? [She continued to massage his back. Hopefully it would help him sleep and he wouldn't have to worry about anything.]

I looked a lot like my brother John. He was a mix between both Ma and Pa, but I looked almost like him.

Something like that. [He was still a little tense, but he relaxed as time went on, unaware of her ingenious idea.] How many brothers did you have?

Five older. I was just a chance of luck. Ma had no idea she was pregnant with me.

Wow. I bet she was happy to finally have a little girl after all of that.

They were actually well behaved. Never did anything horribly wrong. I guess that's why I'm such a troublemaker.

When she finally did find out she was pregnant she thought it was another boy and was going to make him Charlie. The name stuck even though I was a girl, but she ended up spelling it different.

Heh, that's probably why you can get away with it too.

At least it wasn't Robert. There's no respelling around that.

They could have gone with Roberta?

I don't know how I'd feel about saying Roberta during sex.

[She laughed softly.] But you like saying Charleigh?

[He smirked, burying his face into the pillow.] I try not to think about it at the time.

You can call me Leigh if you don't like saying Charleigh.

[She nuzzled her face against the back of his head.] My brothers use to call me that.

Now why didn't I think of that?

[He closed his eyes, turning his head so he could nuzzle her back best he could. It was so..relaxing to just lay there. He let out a small sight of contentment.]

[She eventually rolled off his back and laid next to him.] Maybe you thought it might upset me?

( ooc; i was around the same age too. it was a pigeon, nothing cute. )

[He slowly opened his eyes to look up at her, still obviously tired.] I think I was just over thinking it...surprise surprise.

[She reached out and stroked his cheek.] Get some sleep. I'll be here when you wake up.

[He closed his eyes, reaching up to cover her hand with his. It was still reassuring to hear that.] I love you.

I love you too. [She scooted a little closer to kiss him.]

[He returned her kiss, a little more tiredly, but the tenderness was there. He wrapped an arm around her waist to hold her closer to him.]

I'll be here, Puddin'. Don't worry. [She nuzzled against him and let out a content sigh.]
