The dog trotted over to where an empty suitcase lay in the corner, and he dragged it by the handle with his mouth over to her. On the suitcase, a name was stamped, though the letters were peeling off. 'Professor R. J. Lupin.'
The wolf gave a bit of a growl at first, but it slunk out from under the desk, looking first at the man then up at the desk where a piece of parchment with the words 'Lesson Plan' neatly written on top was set.
The Potions Master watched the wolf with an arched brow, not seeming very nervous about being around it, oddly enough. He peered down, picking up the piece of parchment marked 'Lesson Plan' seeming to be examining it.
Got something for you, Lupin, though I don't know if you'd want it right this minute..
The animal's ears pricked up, seeming quite aware of what was being said, and at the same time, if it were even possible, he seemed to look a little suspicious about whatever he might be being brought..
The wolf sniffed the air when the other bent down, but it did not move. Cautious, certainly, but it did not seem dangerous. Really, a rather odd thing...
OOC: Ain't it great? Except when I use the wrong icon.
The creature almost seemed to smile, and its head canted to the side, almost the way a person's would when shrugging off a statement about their abnormalities.
The animal sat up sharply, seeming to trust its eyes before its nose. Teeth had started to be bared, but then it stopped, seeming to calm as it sniffed the air again, and its own head tilted.
The other animal was calm now, though almost a bit disappointed. A very human, mixed reaction. He'd mistaken the dog for another, one that was now a threat, but at the same time, the animal was sorry it wasn't the friend it knew.
The wolf moved out from under the desk, tail wagging just a slight bit.
Crow: Doot doot doo...Oh! Why Marmaduke! How'd you get in here, you scamp? Servo: *whispers* Uh, I don't think he gets that one, Crow. Crow: *aside* Well what am I supposed to do, a string of dumb Kibbles 'n Bits jokes?
Servo: Hey man, we're looking for a new White Fang. Interested? Crow: Servo! That's not very nice! Servo: Wha-? I'm trying to give him something to do with his time! Is that so wrong?
Servo: Hmmm. I think he smells the White Castles on your breath, Crow. *sniffs* Unless...you don't happen to roll around in old pickled tuna, do you? Crow: Um, no. *sniffs* does it smell to you like dog in here? Servo: I think that's him, Crow. Crow: *embarrassed and guilty* Gah! Sorry.
The wolf peered up, sniffing slightly, trying to decide if this was a student he'd have to give a detention to later for coming into his office without any sort of permission.
The wolf's ears perked up, and... that was exactly what it was. A wolf. Not the larger, bloodthirsty creature that could be tamed by the presence of other, larger animals.. but a simple, relatively harmless wolf.
He slunk out from under the desk, stretching slightly, seeming to give a yawn. And the tail of the wolf? Was wagging.
I think you're office is just a tiny bit too small for me to transform, but we can still hang out. He plops down on the floor and reaches out to scratch the wolf's head.

Talking nonsense it seemed, but amusing nonetheless. His head tilted as he watched them, sniffing the air slightly.
