It's all part of the same. If I can keep her screaming, if there's still fear and the fear of those around her, maybe it will be enough. It'll keep me from doing it.

Not collect so much as take them from those that don't use them to their potential. I want to be fully evolved, to use all that I've been given.

But if you take it, you're not really use all that you've been given. You're using what you've taken. Unless I'm missing something.

But I do have to admit that there's something to be said for living up to potential. It just takes some people longer to realize theirs. Doesn't mean they're wasting it.

I started with my own, and it lets me see how things work. I can look and see what part lets them do it, so I can make it part of me. It lets me do it right.

One, the first, he wanted me to take it away. He wanted it gone. He was broken.

I can sort of understand that... but I could never take someone's power permanently. It would mean killing them. And having them permanently in my head.

Lucky you, then. I get bits of their psyches, and the strength depends on how long I touched them. I got five inside me right now, still whispering. A couple of them are stronger than the others.

I'd rather not be carrying around extra people. Especially the guy that killed me.

I look into their brains, see what makes them tick, then I consume it and it's mine. Messy but effective.

David's just about gone. And certainly within the last few years, if a touch has been brief then the voice doesn't stay. Fades within a couple of days.

Logan and Magneto, though... they haven't faded in all this time. And John won't, but then he's had a booster recently.

Booster? You knew it would get him in your he and you touched him again?

John is... well, John. He ain't afraid of my skin and I think he wants to be in my head a little. He doesn't seem to mind. I'd like to be able to justify it without contradicting most of what I just said... but I can't.

With him, I think I definitely feed of what he gives me. Especially, um... you know. Personal moments.

Yup, strictly a skin thing. No touch without harm, or taking something. Hence the booster of John.

Interesting. I know someone that does that as well, but I don't think he needs the contact per se.

Mine is purely physical but I do a lot of that with telekinesis.

Well then who you know is very lucky he doesn't have to touch people. I wish I had control over it, but I can't seem to find a way.

Usually I use telekinesis.

So that I can remove the part that's broken and ingest it so that I might further evolve. In a nutshell. There's more but I tell this story a lot.

I have five! Well, technically I think it's four and a half, but that's if you're being really picky. And then if you really wanna get picky... I can do basically anything and everything.

So let's be picky. How does that work that you say five, four and a half, and everything at the same time?

Well, I have: sensing, empathy, telempathy, projection and molecular immolbilization. That's five. But telempathy manifested from empathy and sort of overtakes that one, hense four and a half. And prejection means that I think things into happening. Like I'm not telekinetic, but I can think a glass across the room and into my hand.
