Another birthday, still no Nobel Prize.

In what field were you hoping to earn one?

Ahhh. And what is the nature of your project and research, may I ask?

Really! I am afraid I know little about that-- this has to do with the so-called Homo superior? Genetics is a field of more interest to my wife.

Oh, I believe that. Nadia has tried on occasion to explain some of her work to me, but I am more at home with things of a scale that I can touch and hold.

She is; she lectures occasionally on genetics at La Sapienza, in Roma.

You might have; I know she publishes, although I have lost track of just what journals and so forth. When I can only understand perhaps half of each abstract... *self-deprecating smile* Nadia Ferretti would be the name.

She's earned it.

I thought the point of research was to discover. *wry smile*

Thank you, I shall be sure to let her know someone thinks so.

Is that always on your birthday list?
