[Sneaking around. She should be sleeping.]

[He was on the couch, unable to sleep and not wanting to wake Roxy. When he hears something he sits up, frowning.] What are you doing up, little miss?

[Startled for a moment but recovers quickly.] Can't sleep.

[Rubbing his face tiredly he nods and pats the couch beside him. He reaches up to mute the already quiet tv.] Why not?

Bad dreams. [Crawls onto the couch with her her blanket and stuffed animal.]

Mnnn. [He knows about those too well. Right now though it was moreso a problem just getting to sleep, he wasn't feeling that hot. But he flopped down beside her.] Do you wanna talk about it?

Not really. [She snuggles into him and looks towards the tv.]

[Smiling, he holds her close, running his hand down her back and relaxing against the couch.] The best thing to do is to get your mind thinking about something else.

What were you watching?

Hmm? Oh. Just Golden Girl reruns...you probably never heard of them.

You watch that?

...yes?

What?

Don't gimmie that. I get that look enough from the other female specimen walking around here.

You just look like you'd watch manly stuff.

[He rolls his eyes.] Look. There's a difference between being manly and being...~~sexually comfortable with one's gender~~ open. No, that's not right. Oh whatever.

I'm man enough to watch whatever I want. That work?

[Pokes to tickle her gently.] You guess? Is that the thanks I get for all that ice cream I smuggle you?

[Squirms.] You ate some too!

Shhhh. [Though it was his fault, he covered her mouth.] You'll wake the Peanut Butter monster. And that's beside the point.

Hey...I was thinking..have you ever been to an art supplies store?

[She giggled at the peanut butter monster part.]

Nope, I haven't.

Then we should most definitely take a field trip there tomorrow.

And get what?

Art things? I dunno. Whatever you want.
