By the most dominant color on the case. [And yet, she's putting them back as she found them, yawning again and glancing over at Moose. Moose was out, snoring away. Penny stood and stretched, walking over to Simon and resting her head on his shoulder, her arms around his waist.]
[Has she told him lately how much she loves that grin? It's a wonderful grin. She kisses him in return.]
He's still getting used to going outside. Do you want to wake up to a mess? [She's teasing. The dog has been pretty good about doing his business outside.] Nah. I'm considering going back to bed, anyway.
Hey, you're still up. Didn't think you'd still be up. Can't sleep again? [Because Greg can talk. He sounds totally high wired and he's talking faster than normal.]
What? Me? No. I'm fine. [No, he's really not. You're finally talking to Greg when he's dodging a nightmare actually high.] So if I ever can't sleep, I know who'll still be up.
Saying 'no' before saying you're fine doesn't fill me with confidence. [This is half teasing.] I'm up most nights. The nights I do sleep, I generally don't hear the phone. I think JARVIS grabs all calls then.
I'm fine. Great. Never better. [It's how he'll feel in a few hours that's the problem.] So either I'll get you or your butler. Your AI butler. [He laughs like he made a very witty joke.]
I'm fine. Couldn't be better. My mom is dead. Did you expect everything to be sunshine and puppies? [This explanation would probably be a lot less disturbing if he sounded at all upset about saying it.]
[....Yeah, that was a little too disturbing, even for Penny.] No. I certainly didn't. You're just...something is off and I can't put my finger on it and it has me worried.
*Alex watches her a moment before crossing over with the mug of hot chocolate. Sugar free of course*
Good to see I'm not the only one who can't sleep. *Well okay no it's not and he's worried about her, but he doesn't mind calming her down so she can sleep, even if he probably won't.*
It's common. It happens more than I'd like to think about. [Penny continues with the movies, trying to find one to watch before giving up and putting them away.]
*Alex rests his head on her shoulder* Keep having nightmares. Being unable to protect you, and Ash... *In one of the nightmares he was the one that hurt both of them and it terrifies him*

What's on your mind?

[she shrugs, shaking her head slightly.] Nothing important. I just couldn't sleep. And then Moose wanted to go out for a bit.

Yeah, all the puppy's fault. [He looked worried though.] Anything I can do to help?

Doesn't help I'm probably the one that bruised Bobby's ribs too.
