Of course we fed them bread, but they like chips. And I was just thinking that I'm almost there Donna, I'm almost back to being me. No more sitting around and being upset or wanting to cry.
[They walk up the little crest of a hill to where the TARDIS stands waiting for him. She released his hand and walked a bit faster than him to get there first. She opened the door for him and leaned against the other door, grinning broadly.]
[There's a frown when he sees the TARDIS and she hurries off. The Doctor is about to say something when a feeling tingled inside. Shifting his weight, the Doctor peered inside the TARDIS and glanced around before stepping inside. If Donna thought the Doctor was responsive and kind to Wee, then she'd seen nothing. This hands caressed everything they could find, this hearts pounding in his chest. Slowly he turned to look at her with a frown on his face]
Donna, I'm not being her companion. I'm not traveling with Rose.
[She closed the door getting caught up in his excitement.]
Well... She still seemed unsure about traveling in another TARDIS... and, well... me and my piloting skills... I thought it best to leave her where we parked her.
[And she finally realizes that she's not going to be guilt-tripped or yelled at... and that maybe, just maybe, she got it right this time. She grinned brilliantly and teased him.]
Changing all that? Now, who's stealing her?
[But she made no move to stop him and offered a wink to make sure he knew she was joking.]
no subject
[His voice was soft]
Of course we fed them bread, but they like chips. And I was just thinking that I'm almost there Donna, I'm almost back to being me. No more sitting around and being upset or wanting to cry.
no subject
I think I know just the thing to help that along!
[She stands and offers her hand.]
Come on, Spaceman, up you get!
no subject
[He screwed up the empty wrapper and tossed it into the trash before standing and taking her hand]
Oh, banana grove?
no subject
Something, OOOOH so much better... I hope...
[They walk up the little crest of a hill to where the TARDIS stands waiting for him. She released his hand and walked a bit faster than him to get there first. She opened the door for him and leaned against the other door, grinning broadly.]

Donna, I'm not being her companion. I'm not traveling with Rose.
no subject
Do you see Rose here?
[She grins slyly.]
Rose doesn't know....
no subject
You stole her from Rose?
no subject
I had a key and used it... and moved her and brought her to her rightful pilot. I thought I was liberating her...
[She pats a strut lovingly.]
no subject
[He looked at her for the longest of time, his mind trying to disagree with her. Only he couldn't think of anything right now]
Donna...
no subject
Doctor...
[She then pressed her lips together... afraid she had again messed everything up.]
no subject
Oh, Donna, close the door. We're going for a...
[he paused]
Where's Wee?
no subject
Well... She still seemed unsure about traveling in another TARDIS... and, well... me and my piloting skills... I thought it best to leave her where we parked her.
no subject
Right.
[And off he moved, plotting a course in another time and on another planet. One he knew was far away from everything and everyone they knew]
There's work to do.
no subject
We could go get her? Maybe she would feel better knowing you and your TARDIS are okay together?
[She watched him with amazement and amusement as he danced around the console, setting the coordinates.]
Work to do?
no subject
Oh, things to fix, locks to change, programmes to re write and lock out.
no subject
Changing all that? Now, who's stealing her?
[But she made no move to stop him and offered a wink to make sure he knew she was joking.]
no subject
no subject
So... Can I help? Or are you going to be doing some Time Lord, mumble-jumble?
no subject
[He grins at her then]
You can make tea.
no subject
Oi! I'm not your bar maid!
no subject
[He grinned at her, walking past and slapping her arse]
Make tea.
no subject
[She's stalking him to smack him right this time, since last time didn't quite cut it.]
no subject
BRING ME TEA WOMAN!
no subject
[She almost growls in frustration. Then a smug grin appears.]
Oh no... Your ship... I'm just a guest.
[She crosses her arms in front of her, but keeps her eye on him, should the opportunity to smack him arise.]
no subject
[And off he went, making a bounce towards the door]
