Remus tugs absently at his borrowed shirt again and gives Sirius a dry look. "I look like a prat," He really isn't quite comfortable in the skin-tight material, and spends a moment selfishly longing for the comfort of his sweater vests and the old chair in his flat.
"No, you look like a normal guy instead of a librarian." He props his hand against the flat of Remus's back as he pulls the door to the pub open with another, giving him a gentle sort of push. "It's refreshing."
"Librarians are perfectly respectable people, Pads," he corrects absently, and then he's being ushered through the wide door into the dim and the smoke and the noise and he snorted a bit of a laugh, "Glad to know I could be of service,"
"I didn't say they weren't respectable," Sirius answers lightly, squinting his eyes a bit to adjust to the low lighting, before he nods at a table near the bar and heads toward it. "Just boring."
Remus follows him willingly enough, and settles into one of the chairs, shifting as he blinks around the dim, checking out the crowd that's gathered around them. "We disagree about the excitement of libraries and those charged with their upkeep,"
"And we'll agree to disagree for a while," Sirius says chipperly, clapping Remus amicably on the back and heading to the bar. He comes back barely a minute later with two beers in hand, sliding one across the table to his friend as he takes a seat himself.
He let out a slight 'oof' at the clap and then shakes his head, eyes tracking his friend as Sirius purchases them two pints and takes his with more readiness than he honestly feels. "And what are we drinking on this whirlwind adventure, Pads?"
"Right now? Beer. Of the muggle variety. Might want to hold your nose when you take a drink, Moons, it's pretty stout stuff." He waggles his eyebrows at his companion, taking a glance around the room, apparently looking for something - or someone.
