Big brothers worry too damn much.

Doctors are people I stay away from. I don't like doctors all that much.

He's a good man. A very good man.

Why are you wary of them?

What happens if you get ill?

Us soldiers don't get ill.

And when I was younger I saw doctors take a few of my brothers and sisters apart.

Uncle Henry isn't like that. He wouldn't.

That's why he tested his formula on himself *well, he guessed it wasn't entirely the whole truth, but he'd like to believe that*

Adrienne is always worried when I talk to Christina. Or talk about her.

Why's that?

Because she says we're bad for each other.

I know... I mean I love her, she knows I do...it's just... I'm not too good at telling her.

Love is a fickle thing. And its not something a person can throw around so maybe its a good thing that you're not good at it. When the time comes you'll be able to.

But she left me.

Because I couldn't tell her...

Mum said I should have. Should have said anything but although I loved her...love her, the words to make her stay wouldn't come.

Do you still talk to her?

Sometimes. It's difficult. I want to, but I'm so fucking stubborn.

shakes head, chuckles The world and its stubborn people.

*laughs quietly* We never learn, not even when we lose those closest to us.

But things change, more often than the stay the same so maybe I'll find the words.
