What sucks is that I don't even have a home to go back to. It's more like I just miss how things used to be. I mean now, where ever my sister is, that's home to me. But I guess--

Whoa, hey. I'm dumping on you, aren't I? [Her eyes go wide for a second, and she forces a laugh] Sorry. I don't usually do that.

No, it's fine. That's how I feel, too: I'm homesick more for the feeling of what was before, not what it would be like now.

My mom got the virus, along with most of the city. And the surrounding cities. So we kinda had no choice but to get out.
