She smirks, "Didn't have much a choice. The Doctor calls it 'primitive medicine'. So, home I went."

"... who was on duty?" Rory frowned. "If the Doctor discharged you, you clearly weren't going to get any rest. Not that we can stop self-discharges."

She shrugs, "I really wasn't with-it enough to know. I'm sorry." She grimaces at his comment about the Doctor, "He's not that bad... I'm just impatient and he thinks I heal a bit faster than I do."

"I know the Doctor. Or at least one Doctor." Rory smiled. "And he isn't that bad for someone who doesn't know where, when, or even how to stop."

She's just going to grin at that, "He's not half-bad compared to most the blokes I've encountered. I think people sometimes forget he's alien. And we're alien to him. As long as we remember that, I think everyone is fine."

"And I think he forgets we're aliens sometimes." He smiled. "So which of the Doctors is 'yours'?"

She looks at him, "Hard to explain. There's a lot of "hims" around. Mad hair, long brown coat?"

"And no scarf and no waistcoat?" Rory had, of course, seen images of all eleven so far and had a good memory. "The tenth?"

She shakes her head, "Pinstripes, either a blue or brown suit.... he had a thing for brown."

Rory nodded. "The tenth. Or whichever tenth. This place confuses me."

"Yeah, me too. But it's alright, overall. It's kinda nice to see so many different versions of him. "

She shrugs, "As long as they don't treat me too mean, it's not so bad, really. And I've learned to talk to them first. Because they all look the same, sometimes I can't tell which is which until they start to talk."

"I've seen more of him than my Doctor." Rory shook his head. "And when you're married there's a whole other set of problems."

Donna raises an eyebrow, "Lots of your wife about?"

"At least twice as many as there are of me." Rory shook his head, clearing cobwebs.

She smirks in understanding, "And any of them belong to you, as it were?"

Rory blushed. "She wouldn't mind. Any of them that is. But I do."

Donna smiles at the blush, "No need to be embarrassed... really! Tons of Doctors about who know me... and love me... but only one is the one I know, you know?"

"I'm meant to be a man. And Amy is the sexiest person I know." Rory's comment was mostly amused - he'd been through just about everything.

Donna is over the whole "spreading her seed stage," though, she misses her kids that... weren't her kids. "So... the only way to 'be a man' is to nail her?"

"Of course not. But that's what people claim." Rory's tone was polite and amused. "It's what I'm meant to want."

Donna looks curious, "And you don't?" Then she realizes what she's saying, "Oh I'm sorry... letting my curiosity get the better of me!"

"One Amy is more than enough to exhaust me." His tone was very affectionate before he realised what he'd said. "And I didn't mean it that way."

With that, pain or no, Donna starts to laugh. It continues for a couple seconds until the pain becomes too much, "Oh Rory, I didn't think you did... If you know the Doctor and Amy travels with him as well, I imagine? I can understand why you'd feel that way."

She groans a bit, "They're wrong by the way, laughter isn't the best medicine."

Rory winced sympathetically. "It's a good one if there's not much wrong with you. And she's as good at getting into trouble as he is."

Donna grins knowingly, "Then you're right... you do have enough with just them."
