I don't know. Maybe they should be. Someone works to ruin your life and kill you then maybe you should be able to turn it all off.

Scientifically, there should be a way of doing it, based on the same idea that medications are used to treat mental disorders. It's just the price you pay going the other way.

Doesn't help I don't like profitable science either. The moment you turn to it for profit you forget the people involved.
