*laying down, chewing a broken stick*

*She pulls harder, surprisingly strong for her vigilante training, but still probably going to lose to the puppy. She always gives in to tug of wars with dogs. Who can stand to see the face when you take the stick away? Unless of course, Zus-dog is some kind of tug of war master...*

*He is a dog though, and tug is a favorite game. He gets up on his feet, lowering his front paws down and putting his weight on his back legs, giving a sharp tug, but when she doesn't budge, he lets go, stumbling back from the force was exerting in trying to pull the stick back. He lowers his ears a little and stands up fully, trying to grab the stick again*

*She lets him grab it, then yanks.*

Come on puppy Zus, beat me at tug of war and I'll buy you a hot dog.

*He narrows his eyes at being called a puppy--he's certainly not that, and he digs in again with his paws, pulling back as hard as he can against the stick to try to pry it lose from her hand*

*She pulls back firmly, though she can feel it beginning to slip, so she reaches over and scratches between his ears as she pulls with one hand, just to bug him.*

*He starts to growl a little--dammit that's distracting--and he loosens his grip on the stick, but then quickly grabs it again, choking up closer to her hand.*

*She doesn't really notice, because she's laughing at him, of course, and won't let go of the stick.*

Gotta try harder...

*He growls louder and yanks as hard as he can, shaking his head back and forth*

*The stick finally does slip through her fingers, but she's too busy laughing to actually notice.*

*Satisfied, he backs up a few steps and turns his back to her, going back to chewing on the stick, but the tip of his tail is still wagging--he's amused*

You're so cute.

I owe you a hot dog.

*He thumps his tail against the ground at the mention of the hot dog. She does owe him... He keeps chewing on his stick in the meantime, acting like he's ignoring her, especially for the cute comment--though he'll tolerate it while he's a dog*

Aw...sometimes I think you ignore me. You'll have to try harder than that to shake me off. I'm like a nasty flea.

*She does reach over and try to play with his ears, since they're so damn fuzzy.*

*He tries to chew on the stick harder, as if making a point that it's more interesting than her, but he thumps his tail against the ground a few times--sometimes it gives him away*
