(He's pretty sure his father would have a bigger problem with that than he would. Painting has always been a cause for contention between Nate and his father. Whether he was jealous of the bond Nate and his mother shared because of art or if it was because Nate decided to pursue that instead of business, he didn't know, but it had been the reason for the rift that continued to grow between Nate and his dad.)
Does the paint at least match what I'm wearing? (He asks, nothing but humor in his voice as he follows her to her room but lingers outside it.)
I forgot what colors you were wearing. ( she teased back, but in the back of her closet the found a black dress that would match. nicole slipped into it, but had a hard time zipping it up. )
(Stares for just a moment, literally stunned by the choice. After he comes around he just nods. His hand fumbling with the zipper at first but then he slowly zips up the back. His hand lingering on the back of her neck, he leans his head down close to her ear and whispers.) You look beautiful.
( she trembled as she felt his hands on her back and she bit her lip to keep from making any sounds. a gasp escaped her lips at the sound of his voice so close to her ear. it caused her to blush and she turned her head to look at him. ) You, really think so?
Yes. Very much. (He smiles softly and smooths a thumb across her red cheek.) Though I bet you would have looked beautiful in the paint covered clothes as well.
