Well then, happy birthday to you too, Luc! ::hands over the brightly colored birthday hat from his back pocket:: Joe's been forcing me to wear this but you can have it. He can't force me to wear it if I don't have it.
You're welcome. Nothing too big. Having a party down at a bowling alley with all of my family and friends. It should be fun. How about you? ::laughs when Luc puts the hat on:: That looks as ridiculous on you as it does on me
Wow, that does sound really romantic. Joe and I didn't get very much alone time until very late, after the party. But that time was nice, we sat in my hotel room opening presents and talking and ::he blushes at the memory:: well, yeah.
The day before though we went shopping and that was really fun. ::his blush deepens suddenly, remembering what they'd done in the dressing room::
I'll let him know you think so. He'll appreciate the compliment. Plus he's laid up in bed because he hurt his ankle so he could use the positive thought.
That thing I said about him not being as clumsy anymore? I might've spoke too soon.
He strained the tendon in his ankle before the show jumping around and then because of his ankle he fell on stage pretty bad, got a huge nasty bruise on his butt from it. Poor guy.

I can't remember if we had the same birthday... Should I be wishing you a happy birthday as well?
