There's always a silver lining, right?

... you have something plausible in mind?

Only problem with that is, we don't know who is actually still working with Division.

Trust me, ... or, okay, that's a bad start. But I've heard the stories. And even if there's nobody working with them, anyone can be pushed into it after the fact.

Until there's a reason to be an army - like, oh, let's start with knowing where the HQ and other locations of Division are - the fewer and quieter, the better.

Having met the late, unmourned Carver... I'd say enough.

Dani...

The only thing I've got is a lifetime of blurring out things for Watchers. And a set of circumstances that ended me up with one of the best of Watchers - and she's just growing into her own still - and two things that Division really wants and that may be an advantage. Anybody turns us in, last reasonable hope we have is gone. I am open to ideas, but there's only so much we can risk. Even what I'll be playing now will be walking the line as safely as I can get it, while making some progress because there are things we have to know.

Doesn't mean my way is the right way or the only way. Just the best way I see right now.

Hmmm. That would make him highly unlikely to have prior connections with Division, wouldn't it. but...

Are you sure he can stay safe enough after that?

[identity profile] nodecisions.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 12:17 pm (UTC)(link)
And teaching somebody to hide from Watchers is... complicated.

If... if. We decide to ask him that. And if bad comes to worse. Do you think he'd let himself get Wiped?

I have a friend who likes simplifying things down to it.

Okay. Because it's an option, and... the closest I know to keeping him as far from the futures Watchers see as he can be kept. And... he mustn't, under any circumstances, be dragged into this part of things blind. Start using people, and we'll end up just like them.

And... I need to talk with Cassie before we decide, okay? Just in case this has or will shake something loose.

[identity profile] nodecisions.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 12:36 pm (UTC)(link)
That... could work, yes.

He hasn't freaked out on you, then? Not that it's any of my business, but sounds like a good friend, if nothing else.

... it's not that spooky! ... then again, I pretty much grew up with it.

[identity profile] nodecisions.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 12:49 pm (UTC)(link)
If you say so? It's always what can be done that's been more of a problem to me - and that not nearly as much as what the person chooses to do with those abilities. But then, I had a - complicated - childhood.

Sometimes, we can get close. But no, I suppose you are right.

[identity profile] nodecisions.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)
We're working on it. Thanks, really, that may... help a lot. I'll let you know, either way?

[identity profile] nodecisions.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 01:05 pm (UTC)(link)
That's likely to be the safer option, too.
