Because 'He' supposedly decreed it, but I can't help but wonder if perhaps there are others out there. Why else would Azazel work so hard on those other kids? ...and while we could overtake the kid, who's to say he'd still be useful? Hmph. Look at the rest of Hell, half of them swore to serve our Lord, and look where we are? Civil wars all over the place, trying to get rid of our Lord. It's disgusting.
