Imagine you are a Professor, trying to give you detention. You burst out of the classroom after that rotter, Potter, a victim of alliteration if ever there was one, only to find a bearded lady in a slinky dress and top hot. Would you have the wherewithal to bring her in for detention?

A bearded lady? Right.

Detention's not too bad. At least, not this time round. I'll get to spend some time with Hagrid even.

Don't you ever get into trouble?

I don't get caught, no.

In my case, it's hard not to get caught. People are always watching.

Just because they're watching you doesn't mean they have to see what you're doing.

Yes, Crabbe is an incredibly crafty fellow, Goyle is a master of artful misdirection, and you've certainly never noticed when Malfoy is up to something.
