I wish you'd stop bringing that up. *Remus grumbled.*

Ok, sorry. It was meant to be a compliment. [He felt a little awkward as he didn't mean to irritate Remus]

*He waved a hand dismissively.*

It's fine. I'm just more sensitive this week...you know what I mean.

*He was referring to the upcoming full moon.*

Yes, it's alright [He knew was Remus meant and felt sorry for the guy] Everything going ok at school?

As well as it can. *He shrugged.*

Snape's been...well, Snape. *Remus glared at his drink as though it had personally offended him.* He's getting nosy.

Snivellus is always going to be Snivellus, Moons [He smiled] Of course he's nosy, he has a huge one.

*He did crack a small, slightly strained smile at that.*

He's been asking a lot of questions about my...absences.

He has? What have you told him? Don't let him beat you down, Moons.

I haven't told him anything. *He bit his lip.* I think he has an idea. He just doesn't know for sure if it's true.

Don't worry about it, Moons. It'll be ok [He patted his friend on the back]

We have to keep an eye on him.

*He nodded, taking a long swig from his drink.*

You and Sirius'll take care of me, I know. *He smiled.*

Yep, we will do that [He grinned and took a swig of his drink]

I'm really starting to wonder how I survived so long without you lot.

*He spoke quite sincerely, not the usual sarcastic tone he adopted when talking about things like this.*

How long was that then? [He smirked]

Just about eleven years. My entire childhood. I kept to myself then. I was scared of what I was.
