"I'm sure that's not true. It probably just feels that way." She tried to reassure him. With two loving adoptive parents of her own, she just couldn't imagine a father not loving his son.
"No, I usually just wind up getting dragged back to my rooms by my guards." He grinned charmingly. "At least I didn't lose any of my clothes this time."
Isabel smiled and blushed a little bit. He hadn't actually said she was the right company but the look he was giving her gave her butterflies. "Lucky them?"
The touch surprised her a bit but the softness made her blush even harder. "So... do you plan to stay a while? Christmas is in December and I really thing you'd like it."
