[She'd fallen asleep next to the bed in the chair, she just..hadn't wanted to leave him alright? And immediately once she heard the jerk, her eyes snapped open and she was right over there adjusting the bed and frowning.] Ollie? Can you hear me?
[Whether or not he was able to hear her as she spoke, it was clear she wasn't going to get a verbal response from him. Oliver's body was convulsing hard. Against the mattress, his back arched and slammed down again, fingers and toes twisting and face grimacing as he felt himself without breath.]
[This is where the nurse in her came in handy and not freaking out. She did everything she could to stop it - doing those nursely things (forgive mun, it's late and she is kinda of the sick today) to help him breathe and calm him down. She was far more worried then scared]
[There isn't anything Oliver can do in the meantime. All he knows is to wait for his body to calm down and give him back the ability to speak and breathe. It seems that every muscle in his body is twisting and contracting. His fingers spread and twitch and his back arches and slams on the mattress of his bed. Finally, everything slows and the motion stops. The only sound in the room is Oliver's hard, shallow breaths.]
[Even Oliver's lips trembled. His first attempt to get the straw into his mouth sent it bouncing, and he had to wait for it to stop its movement before he could try again. The pulls of water were short, desperate sucks, and he drank as much as he could before he leaned back and gasped a little bit more.]
Thanks, Annabella. [He shifts his head on the pillow and closes his eyes for a moment.] What time is it?
No problem. [She probably shouldn't even be there really, but she was. She looked around for the clock and then gave a small yawn, covering her mouth to let it pass before answering.] It's four twenty-seven in the morning.
[He grimaced slightly when he heard the time. It wasn't as though Oliver really had to stick to any schedule. He still hadn't made any honest attempts to re-enroll in college or figure out a course for his life to take. But he knew he was going to be woken up early regardless, and there was going to be a good effort made to getting him out of bed. He watched Annabella yawn and frowned.]
I'm sorry, did I wake you up? [Suddenly he felt confused. Had she been here the entire time?] You haven't been awake all night?
[She pushed her hair back, for once she'd let it down to hang around her shoulders. She shook her head and smiled.] It's fine. I came to visit and you were sleeping, I figured I'd wait it out till morning and surprise you. I guess I fell asleep reading.
I'm awake now. [It didn't look like he would be for much longer, though. Oliver's eyes already wanted to close, but he tipped his head to look at Annabella with a tired smile.] Do you want to lie down with me?
[She tilted her head then smiled.] Sleepy head. [She stood up, tucking her hair behind her ears before she moved to the bed and slid onto the little space available, pressing a kiss to his cheek]
Mhm. [Oliver didn't argue with the tease. In fact, his eyes threatened to close for good then and there. He listened in his tired haze as Annabella climbed into the bed at his side. When her lips touched his cheek, he opened his eyes and shifted his head towards her. The kiss was returned. His lips found the space just behind her earlobe, and he touched it in a soft kiss before using his tongue to flick the lobe itself and soothe it with another kiss.]
I always have been able to get you in bed. [He replied quietly.]
[She shivered as she felt his tongue and gave him a little light nibble right back] Shame you're so tired [she mumbled and then smiled against his neck.]
That you have Ollie. Always will be able to in the future too.
