You don't need to worry yourself with such details, Draco. I'm sure your friends can get along just fine without you for a while.

[Which basically means that he's not entirely sure himself. He's hoping that their Lord won't want to have him for too long.]

That's not... exactly what I had been thinking, father. I meant the cabinet, I've been mending it periodically almost every day, but it still needs some work.

[Draco's worried that if he leaves and is away from the Vanishing Cabinet for too long, all of his work would come undone and he'd have to start again. Course, this was his paranoia speaking -- his magic would probably just weaken a little.]

[Lucius smiles and shakes his head slow.] The cabinet will be fine without you, son.

If you've been mending it as often as you say you have, it's magic should be strong enough on its own for a few days and shall be ready for you when you return to school.

[Draco nods briskly, satisfied with his father's confirmation.]
