Never flown before. We're... very high.

[ she laughs, very briefly. she feels worse than ever. at least if she keeps talking and listening she doesn't have to focus on how goddamn uncomfortable her skin is. ]

No, but I might come down to LA, knock you over the head and kidnap you.

[Spike is more than happy to distract her. He's far more worried that she won't make it through this than he's letting on. But someone's got to be optimistic, and apparently it's up to Spike.]

All right. And when I woke up, where would we go?

There's a museum dedicated to Galileo in Florence. Thought we could start there.

And then we have to go to a gelato place and try every single flavour.

There are also lots of art museums and operas and all sorts of things. Not to mention beaches... though if you want to go during the day, someone else'll have to take you. They haven't made sunscreen strong enough for me.

I should work on that.

[He smiles a little, though Fred can't see it.] If anyone can do it, it's you.

[ laughs dryly. ] I don't know. I'm ruining my own perfect record, I think.
