[He furrowed his brows.] What? Beg her to come back? No, Eames.

Just talk to her, Arthur.

Her phone's off and I'm not running down to Bolivia to talk. [He does care in his own way.]

[With a heavy sigh] You can get into contact with anyone you bloody well want. Talk to her, Arthur. Don't be an arsehole.

[He clenches his jaw.] I'm not a child, Eames. If she doesn't want me to contact her, I won't. She's clearly trying to hide, doing a piss poor job at it I might add, but hiding nonetheless.

[Leaning back in his chair again, Eames just stares at him for a long moment] Arthur. I get it. You're stressed, you're probably trying to protect her. But this? Stupid fucking idea mate.

What else am I supposed to do? She left. I'm not going to go crawling back to her with my tail between my legs. I was right.

One day Arthur, that pride is going to get the better of you, and you'll be a sad and lonely man.

I'm not going to endanger myself or this team because she thinks she knows more about this job. The job comes first. Always has.

Ariadne is part of the team, Arthur. And don't give me that shit, darling. Deep down you have a heart.

She endangered herself, Eames. I'm protecting her by keeping her as far away from this as possible.

[With a sigh] It's Ariadne. She'll find trouble anywhere. At least here you can keep her safe.

[He had a point.] She is just as stubborn as I am. She thinks she's right. I'm not going to bring her back to Talon to get her killed.

I doubt any of us are safe working for them, Arthur. At least this way we can keep her safe.

Fine. She's staying at the Hilton in Bolivia. I'll leave a message at the front counter for her.

[With a nod] It's for the best.

It doesn't change anything between us.

Was there anything else or are you done playing babysitter?

I was actually concerned Arthur.

I'm sure you were.

[He snaps.] I was going to anyway. I don't need you telling me what I should or shouldn't believe.

[Eames just offers him a tight smile] I'll be going then, darling.
